Russian team of young inventors will present their projects at IEYI-2025
From August 6 to 8, 2025, the International Exhibition for Young Inventors (IEYI-2025) will be held in Osaka, Japan. The Russian team will take part in this exhibition for the ninth time.
This year, almost 100 projects from 21 Russian cities (Moscow, Novosibirsk, Yekaterinburg, Perm, Svobodny, Ufa, Kazan, Samara, Cheboksary, Novocherkassk, Zelenodolsk, Chita, Nikel, Tyumen and others) participated in the selection round of the International Exhibition of Young Inventors.
Based on the results of the selection, the Russian team will be represented by:
1. Alexander Sukhotsky, "Vorobyovy Gory" Center for Technical Education (Moscow), with the project "SmartSpray – system for plants spot spraying"
2. Nikita Simakov, "Vorobyovy Gory" Center for Technical Education (Moscow), with the project "Autonomous system for monitoring and maintaining room climatic parameters and CO2 concentration"
3. Victoria Kopysheva, Vadim Fesenko, Ivan Vorontsov, Center of Scientific Collaboration (Cheboksary), with the project "SMART TorfoTrak"
4. Nikita Nazarov, "School № 354" (Moscow), with the project "Table tennis robotic coach"
5. Anna Rodionova, "School № 444" (Moscow), with the project "Robotized device for creating individual coffee sets"
6. Tikhon Palas, "Znayka" school (Moscow), with the project "YONEXBOT – robot for assembling shuttlecocks for badminton"
7. Anastasia Suchko, Alexander Belyaev, "School № 1" (Norilsk) / "School № 1554" (Moscow), with the project "Touch art – 3D display that makes art accessible to people with visual impairments"
8. Oleg Andreychuk, Tikhon Ordinat, "School № 47" (Chita) / "Pokrovsky Quarter School" (Moscow), with project "Sukhovey – automatic shoe cleaning system"
9. Ayusha Gotopov, "Aginskoe Regional Boarding School" (Aginskoe settlement), with the project "Development of a pump for the internal combustion engine cooling system"
10. Denis Gordeev, "Samara Medical and Technical Lyceum" (Samara), with the project "Algae-based plastic"
The international jury will evaluate the projects according to more than 12 criteria, the main ones being: creativity, efficiency, application of the laws of physics, marketability, patentability, and environmental friendliness. The jury will include an expert from Russia, Yuri Kuznetsov, senior partner of the Gorodissky & Partners law firm.
The Russian team preparation for IEYI-2025 is made possible thanks to the support of the Gorodissky & Partners law firm, which specializes in the protection of intellectual property, and Norilsk Nickel MMC.
At IEYI-2024, young inventors from Russia won 4 gold, 4 silver and 5 bronze medals.
