Russia at International Exhibition for Young Inventors 2018
In 2018, the 14th International Exhibition for Young Inventors was held in India. To take part in the event, more than 200 students and schoolchildren aged from 6 to 19 came to New Delhi from 9 countries: China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, and Russia.
This was the second time Russian young inventors took part in IEYI which was quite a success, winning 2 gold, 3 silver, and 1 bronze medals:
Gold medals:
1) Anastasia Postanidi & Anastasia Shipiguzova (Perm) for their original drainage rainwater inlet grate;
2) Daniil Novik (Yekaterinburg) for his software and hardware complex for restoring muscle activity and fine motor skills after ischemic strokes or traumatic brain injuries.
Silver medals:
1) Dmitry Antonov (Nizhny Novgorod) for his small unmanned research vessel designed to monitor coastal zones, seaports, harbors and bays;
2) Georgy Barashkov & Vladislav Sokolsky (Moscow) for their device for rehabilitation after strokes and neurosurgical operations;
3) Irina Maslennikova (Perm) for her compact portable fracture fixating device.
Bronze medal:
Indira Kalimullina (Naberezhnye Chelny) for her posture monitoring device.
